Ulm Cathedral is the tallest church in the world and the 4th tallest structure built before the 20th century, with a steeple measuring 161.5 metres (530 ft) and containing 768 steps. From the top level at 143 m (469 ft) there is a panoramic view of Ulm in Baden-Württemberg and Neu-Ulm in Bavaria and, in clear weather, a vista of the Alps from Säntis to the Zugspitze. The final stairwell to the top (known as the third Gallery) is a tall, spiraling staircase that has barely enough room for one person.

Distance from Ulm to Zugspitze mountain as the crow flies: 82 miles. That's 132 kms!

When I still lived in Germany I once tried to climb up but never even made it to the half-way mark. I felt dizzy going round and round in a tight spiral and my legs were quivering like jelly. It seems I missed out on a spectacular sight but in those days it wouldn't have meant much to me in terms of Flat Earth vs Globe.

Barcelona from the island of Mallorca, the picture was taken from 1.000m above the sea level, according to the "curvature" we should only see as far as 112km(69.59miles), the distance between Mallorca and Barcelona is over 200km(124ml)

gotta put this one again ´cause it´s the impossible in a ball, the picture was taken from a 415 msnm(1361.54ft) height.
Puig Roig Peak(1.003 mts-3 290.68ft) is the closest to Barcelona, it should not be seen AT ALL according to the distance of 204km(126.75miles) from BCN to Mallorca

the picture was taken from the Fabra´s Observatory(415 msnm-1361.54ft)(4th worlds oldest, with the shape of a Dome, "to study asteroids and comets" according to wickedpedia, it was founded by nobility and aristocrat families)

Cape Otway lighthouse was the oldest operational lighthouse with unbroken service on the mainland Australian coast until it was decommissioned in January 1994.
It stands 91 metres above sea level, can be seen 26 nautical miles out to sea = 48 km and is 20 metres high

Heligoland lighthouse (German: Leuchtturm Helgoland) is located on Germany's only offshore island, Heligoland. Constructed during World War II as an anti-aircraft tower, it was turned into a lighthouse in 1952. It features the strongest light on the German North Sea coast with a range of 28 nautical miles (52 km) so that it can be seen as far as on the East Frisian or the North Frisian islands and Halligen.

The island is called Little Diomede. It looks like a rock plopped into the Bering Strait. Only about 150 Alaskans live on the whole island. And just about two miles away; in full view of every single house on the island is the nation of Russia. Specifically, it is the Russian Island of Big Diomede which sits about 25 miles from the Russian Siberian mainland (which you can also see from the American island.) Most everybody on Little Diomede had relatives who lived on Big Diomede.

Brief little clear explanations of what we are looking at sure does help. These photos posted are excellent when you know what it means.

Some of us are a bit slow on the uptake; I've looked at photos/gifs/illustrations and just wonder what it's showing. Usually other posting people will talk about it in context which helps in understanding.

For total newbies, it helps to tell them what you're going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you told them. It's alot to say for one or two photos, and you said it very well above, I'm just throwing out ideas.

i thought about this top-lit cloud situation over night.

because it's been such a darned mystery, even before I discovered flat earth.

if the sun is setting (downwards on the globe) then why are those clouds all lit up like that.

and i've even mentioned it to others; asked them, 'how can this be?' nobody has explanation. until this flat earth model.

Yeah, and you CAN see light around most of the clouds due to their transparent and diffuse lighting nature as well as the angle of light from the distant sun, but it is very clearly lit mostly from the top as that is the brightest and largest light spot on the clouds, even when the sun appears to be far below the clouds. This lighting effect would not be possible if the sun was truly "beneath" the clouds on a setting sun within a globe earth model.

It sure is sad how sheeple don't even recognize that the horizon is flat in that video when it centers out in the frame and then it is extremely curved when the horizon is near the top and bottom of the frame. Anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge about camera lenses could deduce that a curved wide angle lens is being used, but the ball earth programming is so strong that most people don't notice.

MrThriveAndSurvive on YouTube is scheduled to launch a multiple balloon launch (one in Arizona and one in UK I think) later this month with some really interesting specifications for the experiment. I don't know much about him, but he seems like a decent man with some integrity and I am definitely excited to see the results without a GoPro camera.

That's why I think the "Solar Eclipse From an Airplane!" vid is even worse. I can understand some (most, actually) having no knowledge of the curved Go-Pro lens - but if you're sitting staring out the window of a plane (lol), and that horizon is still eye-level...

All of this plays neatly into people's lack of understanding of True Science and reality so perfectly.

Full view of Salt Lake Valley stitched together from my Bells Canyon hike today. Taken from here. See silly flat earthers, earth IS convex lolz. But seriously mountain ranges on both sides go up in elevation with the Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island out in the center, no curvature to be seen anywhere no matter how high you go, even at the mountain top around 11-12,000 feet. If it weren't so damn hazy you can see the ranges on the other side of the Great Salt Lake too. Antelope Island is about 55-60 miles away dead center in the picture.
