Hi, I said from the off that if anybody takes the time to watch my videos and then spends their time  leaving a comment that wasn’t abusive or belittling then I am going to at least say thank you.

I don’t really care if that person may be false, a shill, an agent, or a disinformation agent, the fact that they came to my channel and left a positive comment is fine by me (even if thats merely to advertise their own channel). I also do not want to get involved in any drama or bitching of any other you tubers. I don’t want to immerse myself in such negative energy of  trivial bitching. I block and delete ANY shill with a sock account that is abusive and offensive rather than being constructive.

I’m aware of all the shill pointing fingers, the drama, the conflict, the in fighting, the falling out. For me thats all simply a distraction designed to muddy the waters and to keep people away from being active and creative.

So while I understand peoples concerns of who’s a shill and who’s not a shill, and anyone responding to a shill, I don’t personally care about that, its not a world that I give any precious energy too, it doesn’t affect me in any way really. Time is short, I think people should focus on being active, creative, and productive, not fighting with the shills. For me thats destructive energy, corrosive of the self, and distractive.

To me that behaviour is so tiresome, stale, and distracting and I wouldn’t like how I would have to be, being so concerned with other peoples say or think about me, all too much negative energy. These shills don’t really rent a space in my head,. I feel people give to much importance, time and significance to a paid shill typing there untruths on a computer. A shill or not, if they leave a positive comment on my video then Im going to acknowledge that comment as I do to all comments.

I understand people may not agree with me or like me for that and thats fine. But I will do things my way and try to be as honest and respectful as I can, that is until the abuse or misinformation starts getting posted. Then I delete. block and move on. It helps my sanity and my positive outlook. Thanks for your post ;-)

Sorry I did not address the end of your post. Yes I understand why you think its so important to expose the shills, however if you think about how many there are and then think about how much of your creative time would be used up addressing everyone of them you wouldn’t do anything else. And thats of course the result they are looking for, to distract and muddy the waters.

I believe a better practice would be to be respectful to anyone who shows respect first as that behaviour should be acknowledged and encouraged. Then leave it for other peoples discernment to see through the shills. If people truly are being critical thinkers in the flat earth then they will know clearly who the shills are, but do they need to waste any energy on them? Personally I don’t think we should. peace.

One day after I wrote that comment, I read it again and realised it's a bit short-sighted. I also thought about your polite yet practical, intellictual and firm approach that you follow in all your interviews, and I realised there is no point of saying anything more than thank you to the potatoes comment or any other non"harmful" contribution.

It's great to know that you are fully aware of the disinfo movement and makes perfect sense why it's not wise to make it an area of focus and waste energy on.
Basically, instead of driving shills away and turning to people and tell them: "Be careful of these shills they say non-sense",
we turn to people and tell them: "Allow me a chance to introduce some critical thinking principles", and this will guide them to detect non-sense themselves.
