Welcome. I am from Edmonton. Glad to see another Albertan.

I would like to say thank you for letting me be a part of this movement, also thank you Eric dubay for all of the great videos and information I listen to all of your material while I'm at work, I drive for a living so I have a lot of time to actually listen to all of the material a couple times over. Alot of the things you talk about it confirmed what I already felt and suspected, it's nice to find other people that think the same way about the lies we've been told and still are being told, so thank you all that work so hard to bring us the truth.

I am new here. Learning this stuff has been a process. I brushed it off when I first heard about it, because there are a lot of people putting out false information, but once I understand what the top guys like (Eric and Del) were saying, it is hard to trust the heliocentric model and the culture that perpetuates it.

I have a few questions, and I am wondering if someone would be able to answer them for me, because I have done some research, but I haven't been able to find an answer for them.

I have seen videos of boats disappearing beyond the visible eye perspective, but will reappear into focus once the viewer zooms in with binoculars or a telescope. Also, I have been doing a lot of research on the horizon perspective, and it makes sense, although I am still trying to master my understanding.

The question that has been on my mind is, why can't we zoom into an incoming/passing Sun or the Sun's glow with a pair of binoculars or a telescope before a "sunrise" or after a "sunset"? Bringing the Sun into focus like the reappearing boat?

Please do not ban this account. I am not a skeptic, I am just curious. I really want to understand it, and knowing this would add one piece to the puzzle.

The short answer is that the Sun is moving very, very fast.

Here's the Long Answer:

The Sun flies above a stationary Flat Earth in a mostly circular or elliptical pattern.  The measurable circumference of the Sun's flight path is dependent upon validity of the measurement of the distance from the North Pole to the Equator, which is said to be 10,000 kilometers, or about 6,200 miles.  

The circumference of the Sun's flight path would then be 2 times Pi times the Radius.  This presumes that it happens to be an Equinox, and then we can use the distance of the North Pole to the Equator as the Radius.  It is understood that during an Equinox, the Sun's flight path is most directly over the Equator, so, that would be:

(2)(3.14)(6,200 miles) = 38,936 miles

Next, dividing that flight path circumference by 24 hours, the Sun's flight speed would be 38,936 miles over a full 24 hours or about 1,622 miles per hour.

A buoy may disappear from view as we walk casually down the beach, and the telescope brings it back, as the videos of Eric Dubay have clearly shown.  Likewise, a  boat, ship or yacht has a traveling speed somewhere around 25 miles per hour, and Eric's videos show that many types of watercraft can be brought back into view after disappearing into the horizon.

Conversationally, if the horizon is 10 miles away, a boat would travel an additional 2 horizons in one hour -- the sun travels about 160 horizons in that same one hour, or almost 3 additional horizons per minute!

Your question was asking why can't we zoom in and recapture the Sun after it disappears into the horizon ... the answer is -- we can, but we would have to be quick about it.  Within one minute, the sun has traversed three additional horizons.  

So, at best, you would have a 10-15 second window of opportunity to zoom in and recapture the sun before it disappears into the next horizon and again into the next.  Even with a super-duper zoom lens and perfectly-honed skills, the task of recapturing the Sun after sunset would be difficult.

But it CAN be done.

I believe there is a video of the sun being zoomed in on after setting, likely in the "Sun, Moon" section.

Hello everyone! This is my first post, and I'm very glad that place like this exist. Hope it won't be shut down again, you know by whom. I have one question, and it's the argument that ball Earth representatives often claim, and it goes like this: when the Sun set under horizon, and if it so close and circling the flat Earth, why I can't see the Sun with some good telescope, if not with just my eyes? It shouldn't vanish completely out of sight if the Earth is flat. They say, from some higher ground with enough powerful telescope you would have to certainly see the Sun. I'm not sure how to properly explain this. I guess it has to do with the horizon on flat Earth, law of perspective, atmospheric distortion... I would like someone here to answer me this properly. Some members of this forum are very knowledgeable with math and law of perspective, so I'm sure they have some good answer. I'm looking forward to your replies, guys!

I'm a 33 year old globe-earth skeptic from Southwest England and I'm very close to forming the flat earth conclusion in my own mind. I'm still looking deeply into this stuff, but there are certainly flat earth proofs that are extremely compelling or even iron-clad.

If the earth is round and rotating at 10,000 miles an hour and we are in an enclosed system and THEY say the atmosphere moves in relation to the earths rotation and gravity is pulling everthing towards the center of a spinning ball, how do hurricanes and tropical storms move in the opposite direction of the rotation?

Only in the wild imagination of heliocentric baller's, by the magical force of gravity, atmosphere is moving in relation to the Earth's rotation. But in reality, you can see how clouds, balloons, birds, smokes, and also hurricanes and tropical storms are easily moving in opposite direction of supposed rotation and no gravity affects them. That is only possible on flat and motionless Earth. Supposed Earth's rotation of 1000 miles per hour is never proven, never observed and measured by any scientific experiment. Same thing is with the theory of gravity. They are still just theories, invented for the purpose of heliocentric system. They only exists in the minds and imagination of ball Earth believers, not in the real world.

I won't bore everyone with my story of how I became a FlatEarther, reading through some of the threads earlier it appears most people firstly tried to find proof that the Earth was actually round or is it pear shaped, anyway whatever shape they seem to not be able to decide on that's the one I looked for. I don't need to say what proofs I discovered and that's why I'm here .....

Hello Everyone. My mind is blown. I felt it all along. It only took 6 hours of research with an open mind.

Hi, I'm Peter, I'm new here, let me quickly introduce myself and why I'm here, what brought me here.

I had a publishing house (books and a magazine where among others we defended so called holocaust deniers) but the German state destroyed everything, with one foot I was in prison. 12 times they have seized my computers etc. Every week in the court house etc.: too much stress. Having no fun in waiting for the police every day, coming in the morning and taking away everything, I’m now living in Hungary where it’s calm for the moment for me.

By 1995 I founded (with Troy Southgate in England and Hans Cany in France independently) National-Anarchism. I am an anarchist but I was – in opposition to most of the anarchists – always aware of the importance of culture (and thnicity) to which people belong. Nowadays, many libertarians are also patriots but back then they didn’t want to hear that and called me a nazi and worked together with the state against me.

I wrote some books, and I had web sites from 1999 on.

In 2001 I wrote an article „Heliocentrism fuck off!“ (see link in the end). I said in this text that only what we see and feel is counting and important – what we SENSE. And only this gives us a sense (of life). Only this is real, the „scientific“ rest I don’t care, leave off with this!

At that time there were two worlds for me: on one hand the world I perceive with my senses and on the other hand the world which scientists showed and explained. My intention was not to doubt the scientists or to discuss with them but to just leave them aside. They might be “objectively” right, but only my subjective truth counted for me.

So I only refuted or refused at that time heliocentrism, I never asked me the question if the earth was flat or a ball. Yes, certainly I had still the image of a ball, but maybe a ball upon which the sun and the moon is coming, rising and downing. It didn’t matter to me if under my feet was something flat or a ball. It was just a question of centricity – and my senses guided me to chose earth-centricity. I seemed to not care if it was a disc or a ball, this question did not come to my mind. So it was a vision of a earth which is both: a ball and a center. I was always agnostic: I didn’t care about the shape of the earth, didn’t care if there is a god – and now I don’t care what is behind the antarctic ice belt (I’m a little bit curious I must admit… It frightens me even somehow…), I have to live my life anyway.

Now, 17 years later, some days ago, I run into the flat earth theory and Eric Dubay. It was funny, I observed the changing of paradigms on my own, I translated everything from helio into terra centrism, it took me one day, that was really a nice turn in my brain, funny…
But you know, after the gas chambers, after 9/11, it went quickly and easily this time… But nevertheless I have to say (without underestimating the holo hoax and 9/11), this is much bigger this time.

Ok, but why now telling you all this and joining the RESEARCH forum?

Well, the most important – as I said above and Eric is pointing out always – is our senses and the signals that they give to our brain. Our senses are guiding us and tell us what is real what isn’t.

It’s a question of perception but also of honesty: to accept these signals. Yet more important is the ability of accepting these signals.

Independently from my „truther“ being (we didn’t use this word in the 80s and 90s) I did a psychotherapy, the most radical one, primal therapy, in the Primal Institute of Arthur Janov in Paris.

It did not work and so I had to develop my own „therapy“. Doing so, I left the paradigm of therapy and psychology. A new paradigm was born: For me, all that counts for the sake and „health“ of a person is the truth: do I live in the truth or not? I can be balanced (which includes the body) only when sensing and perceiving my needs and feelings (the truth) and then to be able to live after this truth. No need of any psychological theory anymore, change of paradigm! Just: Be true! Then automatically, spirit and body work in the best way.

In a way, after being truther towards the outside (historical and political reality) I became now a truther towards the inside (my own personal truth). I think the truther movement needs this replenishment. I am working on this front, my goal is to participate to the junction of these two truths. I think, the inner and personal truth is neglected at the moment in the truther movement and scene.

I wrote a book called „The Truth – to tell it and to live in it“ in which I explain the inner truth and its importance. In the same time I pursued sessions, not primal sessions now but such of truth (which are more or less the same if it is good primal therapy): tell it like it is. But when it becomes emotional in the session, then don’t stop, let it all flow without any hindrance! Of course from Janov and primal therapy I kept the deep emotional aspect. The truth hurts deeply oftentimes. Never before modern people felt such deep feelings until Janov came, it was he who opened it up and gave way again to the bottom.

Now, to distinguish the truth as it is seen commonly (ratio) and the truth which rises from very deep feelings (emotio), I decided to call this truth which is both – rational (cognitive) and emotional/corporal – DEEP TRUTH and the process of liberating it DEEP TRUTHING (sessions of deep truthing or also called Moments of Truth). Of course in the end there is only one truth but I had to make this distinction because truth and deep truth is really something different, deep truth is almost unknown to the public.

Two years ago I founded the Institute for Deep Truthing.

I am not a physicist, not a mathematician, but I think I can contribute to the research with my work and approach which is basically: what is true and what it isn’t on a very personal level. But this personal level can be very important on a collective level, too. It is even the ground for it. The look inside (micro) and the look outside (macro) finally must be one look, in both ways it is the truth that we seek or should seek – or that we hide. The reason for the hiding is fear of pain.

I’m also an artist, an (amateur) musician, my pseudonym as artist is Peter Post. I don’t play any instrument but then again I play them all by myself for my recordings. To me it is sufficient to send the message. What I do is setting Moments of Truth to music: little but intense music-dramatic plays (something between rock opera and audio drama), I call it Post Passions. A whole cycle of Post Passions is intended, its title is “I'm not there / I'm there”.

There are two Post Passions on CD. I am currently working on the third piece. The said cycle of Post Passions will show the evolution throughout the years. One of the reasons why I do this artistic work is to popularize Deep Truthing—in other words to represent the depth of life and its violations in a popular and comprehensible but necessarily also comprehensive way. It’s a matter of losing the truth and finding it again on a painful way.

In the late 70s and early 80s I was very impressed by the so called christian albums of Bob Dylan, not in a religious or ideological sense but purely emotionally.
