Re: Gravity Does Not Exist!
Does anyone remember the name of the person who (long ago) invented the fluid magnetic core of the earth and was knighted by the British?

From shitipedia;
Scientific history. Earth was discovered to have a solid inner core distinct from its molten outer core in 1936, by the Danish seismologist Inge Lehmann, who deduced its presence by studying seismograms from earthquakes in New Zealand. She observed that the seismic waves reflect off the boundary of the ......

Thanks, I found that info too, but was actually looking for a different person's name.
Just something I wish I had noted down when I read about it earlier. One of those people in history, rewarded by powerful people for nonsense.

Now I found his name: William Gilbert, who wrote Magnete in 1600.
His book in English:
I couldn't find anything about the 'fluid' part, or him being knighted, but it was him and he did work for the royal family

Re: Gravity Does Not Exist!
A great thought experiment from Vahid who I interviewed here:
So the ball earth attracts everything towards its center due to the collective force of all the gagillion particles combined together to form a single earth and gravity is the result of this combined effort.
Well consider this if you break the ball earth in half and separate the halves…what happens to the force of gravity?
You now have two halves attracting matter to the center of each half with supposedly half the attractive force as when they were combined. Right? Makes sense with their model.
Then you take each half and break those in half…now you have 4 masses attracting to center of each mass with a quarter the attractive force as the combined whole earth. Right?
So that means, while continuing this trend you divide the earth down to each individual particle being separate from one another and each individual particle now has its own unique tiny attractive force pulling towards its center…right?
So this is where it gets fucked up, so each particle has its own central attractor, that’s what I’m calling the gravitational force pulling towards its center.
Well when you combine two of these particles together just by placing them in close proximity to one another…what mechanism decides that they both now forfeit their original central attractor to contribute to a new combined central attractor in a location away no longer at the center of each atom but now in a remote location that’s now half way the distance between the two particles but with the combined strength of both particles attractors?
If you keep adding more and more particles eventually this central attractor no longer exists anywhere near the original atoms and is located in some far off location positioned at the point of central mass of the combined mass of all the locally involved particles.
So this force that once went to the center of each atom is now combined and moved far away from the particle contributing to it how? And why?
You can’t just move your contribution down to some location and everyone attracts to that agreed upon force hub.
Not to mention if the combined shape you form is a donut, the center of mass lies in a region void of matter, the hollowed out massless center of a donut, therefore in that case each particles central attractor has combined and moved away from the facinity of an particle and exists in a massless void???
If this combining attractor phenomena was ever the case, nothing would be attracted to center of any mass but rather would be attracted only to the surfaces of the masses regardless of the shape with an equal amount of strength spanning the entire surface area of the shape with its magnitude increasing the more molecules you add to the mass…
This would behave like how magnets automatically determine their polarity out at the furthest ends of the magnets and not determined based on their proximity to one another.
Like having a stack of magnets, they still have a +N|S|N|S|N|S- polarity which can be detected by running another magnet along the outer edge of the combined magnets you can feel the little perturbations like a vibration as you run a magnet across the stack.
Anyways, just think of how a particle landing on the ball earth which has its central attractor central to its core suddenly lands and makes contact with the earth which suddenly just takes that attractor and moves it 8000 miles away or whatever to the center of the earth but once it breaks away from the earth it gets it attractor back and positioned at its center the further displaced from the earth it gets…I’m not buying it. How would anything break free from this combined force like evaporation if it’s combating the combined force of every other particle on or near the earth? That’s a load of bullshit.
