Boreholes & Borehole Accessories
hey all, just skimmed my new copy of Flat Earth FAQ (pretty good, Eric, bravo(!)) & keep seeing the pictures of the Kola Superdeep Borehole, shown like this:
which seems super crazy for a few reasons...
first off, when i tried researching this months ago, i had a hell of a time finding reliable photos anything like the ones above, which seem gargantuan
when i look at current photos of the plugged holes, they seem, uh... smaller
like this
& this
& this
so really i'm just pointing out this discrepancy
kind of mind-boggling to consider what's known by those privy: a world of riches(!) to be sure

Re: Boreholes & Borehole Accessories
I’m not sure what the picture of the large hole is but the Kola Superdeep Borehole was a venture started by Russia that ended about 3 decades ago. I remember it being like the small pipe opening pictured. I remember thinking it was pretty cool at the time.

hey, i appreciate it
it seems the images of the giant hole could be from a different project(?)
unless it’s common practice to create a huge basin before digging a long pinhole…
interestingly, longer holes have now been dug, just at an angle [for oil apparently]; so the Kola still gets distinguished as the deepest…
my best guess is the large hole is from mining & the sealed pipes are from the actual Kola borehole(s)
of note: it’s pretty wild how deep water appears, as if in veins, running through these holes

great borehole action here, lol
they find water at 376 ft(!!)
several streams spurt/spout in as it descends, until it’s like a waterfall…
“serious water,” “decent amount of water” by the professionals lol
this crew gets down to 570 ft & cuts [camera looks practically submerged: or in thick streams]
probably worth dropping a cowbell or something down…
