Alternate / Free Energy
If you haven't heard already, let me tell you about Cryogenic Energy Storage. It is meant to be a clean viable alternative to lithium battery power storage at the megawatt level.
Personal-sized Lithium ion batteries are everywhere. But they seem to be unclean, unreliable, expensive and even dangerous. There are plenty of examples of personal lithium batteries blowing up.

If the public cannot reasonably trust any Lithium Ion battery at the pocket level, they can never trust Lithium Ion at the kilowatt and megawatt level.
So, we need a better megawatt battery.
In Great Britain, a partnership of Highview Power Storage, Scottish and Southern Energy, BOC/Linde, and the University of Leeds developed the first full-scale Cryogenic Energy Storage about ten years ago. https://www.theengineer.co.uk/the-2011-energy-environment-winner-ces/
Peter Dearman is reputed to be a garage-inventor who developed Cryogenic Energy Storage originally to power a vehicle with liquefied air, pumping the warming liquid to churn an expansion gas turbine for a zero-emissions. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-19785689
It wasn't very efficient for a car, but at a power plant scale, it is said to achieve 60% efficiency in storing energy and sending it back to the grid at the right time.
Highview Power and BOC/Linde are not the only names in the game. Tacoma Power and Praxair have developed a 15-Megawatt plant that can run off of liquified air for up to 30 hours. https://www.commerce.wa.gov/news-releases/community-grants/commerce-announces-10-6-million-in-state-clean-energy-fund-grants-for-grid-modernization/
So, if you've never heard of Cryogenic Energy Storage before -- now you have.
